Every 12 months a new console is launched on the market and this year it’s been no different. The great Nintendo have been one of the most consistent providers of games consoles with their massive successes with the outrageous Wii and the handheld DS and now the DSi.
When their latest improvement to the DS and DS Lite appeared on the market it was well received. The DSi is loaded with some quirky new features. Including the twin camera the user can take pictures of himself and a friend and this coupled with software that can distort and manipulate the images provides a very quirky set of extra new fun features.
The original DSi was designed in 2 colours, White and Matt Black. These classy looking colours made the DSi look a lot more expensive but the guys at Nintendo had more options up their sleeve. Not content with 2 colour options they then launched another 3 bold colours. The one that is more of a pastel shade is the www.cheapdsiconsoles.co.uk/nintendo-dsi-light-blue.php and both male and female players will like it.
That leaves 2 colours which I dislike but they will still be big sellers. The second blue colour available is the Nintendo DSi Metallic Blue and is a slightly strange blue to sell.
The last new colour in the DSi range is the Nintendo DSi Red which is a little short of being blood red.
It is hard to know why these 3 colours were chosen but it is safe to say that the addition of 3 new colours has come on the back of popular demand. The initial market gave a lot of say into the development too by feedback from Japan where the DSi was first seen.
Providing a lot more console colours might just be the start of a new direction from console providers. In the past they have just stuck with a few colour options but as we all love to have our own personal touch on things, even if it is just to have our favourite colour it seems the manufacturers are finally taking notice.
